  • WSU Spring Garden Day
Spring Garden Day is an annual day-long program of gardening classes for local gardeners. The program will start off with two keynote speakers, one on butterflies and the other on bees. The keynotes will be followed in the afternoon with a variety of gardening classes.

The second keynote speaker of the day is Dr. Steven Sheppard, Faculty and Chair of the WSU Department of Entomology. Honey bee genetics and evolution are just one of his areas of expertise. In his talk, “Honey Bees and Native Bees in the Garden,” he will share interesting information on bee biology, behavior, and health in Washington.

MCBA will have a information table courtesy of David White. Email him at  if you would like to help. You will have to register and pay the fee, if you want to attend any classes. I f you want to register click on this More Information or the one below. Registration deadline is March 7th.
